The Helsinki is a versatile tunnel style tent for families and groups of up to 6 people. It is quick and easy to assemble and offers a sturdy home with good weather protection. With its modern colours the Helsinki is attractive on the outside and the mosquito mesh on the windows and breathable tent material make it practical on the inside.
The sleeping cabin is at the back of the tent and has a divider so that it can also be used as two smaller sleeping areas, as required.
The Helsinki's biggest advantage is its versatility. The front wall of the tent can be zipped into one of two positions, giving you either a very generous inside living area or a sizely porch at the front of the tent which can serve as a sheltered outside sitting area, a play area or somewhere out of the wind and rain to do your cooking.
The water column value of a tent gives information about the quality and strength of its waterproofness. A tent is considered suitably waterproof at 1,200mm. The Helsinki has a water column of 5,000mm and provides very good protection from the weather. Look after your tent, so that this remains so!
The Helsinki poles are made of shatterproof fibreglass and are extremely sturdy and yet also flexible: a very welcome combination. The robust workmanship of the tent with tear resistant material, taped seams and reinforced eyelets and tabs make the Helsinki a good investment.
